My son has been part of the United Studios Family for almost two years now and we couldn’t be happier. All of the instructors are absolutely amazing and you can tell they genuinely love working with all the children. Can’t wait for my little guy to join when he’s old enough!

I can't say enough about what United Studios has done for our daughter and how much she loves going and they have so many activities and opportunities to keep the parents involved too. It truly is like a second family.

Head instructor Enzo is great with kids easy to talk to, has plenty of experience in the martial arts. All of his classes are an amazing workout! They are an excellent way to learn self defense. The rest of his staff is very friendly and motivating.
Students are challenged to push themselves in every class. Self improvement is everyone's goal. There are a lot of great reviews for the younger kids but I feel it is very important to mention the adult classes. Not only are the instructor interactive but the entire class looks out for each other and we grow and improve together.Great environment and people!!!

Love the school!!!! Kids have been there for about 7 years. Now i joined in January. Best shape I'm in since high school. Not only the physical gains but the mental also. It is alot to take in but the rewards are beyond worth all of the sweat and hard work.

How much does Karate Lessons Cost?

How much does Karate Lessons Cost?

Training is Karate classes isn’t cheap. Often times people will compare karate to going to a gym. That is a huge mistake. Karate is an art form, which is why the general term for karate or jiu jitsu etc is {martial arts}.

A local fitness gym might cost you between $10-75 per month while a good karate or Jiu Jitsu school will run $150 or higher each month. Top schools such as affiliates of Dan Inosanto “Bruce Lee’s top student” Sensei Erik Paulson along with Jiu Jitsu Legend Marcelo Garcia or kung fu legend Sifu Tak Wah Eng can easily run $200.00 or more each month.

Additionally, there are other cost to such as uniforms, belt test, and seminars. However, these others items do not have to be purchased right away and shouldn’t hold you back. Our research has proven that no martial arts school will retire on selling tee shirts, uniforms or belt test fees. A good martial arts school believes the value is on the mats learning top notch martial arts.

A recent google search pulled up this fact from  https://www.thumbtack.com

The average cost for karate lessons is $40 per hour/class. Hiring a karate instructor to teach you karate, you will likely spend between $25 and $50 on each lesson. The price of karate lessons can vary greatly by region (and even by zip code). View our local karate instructors or get free estimates from teachers near you.

According to the reputable lessons.com: Despite there being so many variations of the sport, there are just as many schools and karate teachers to accommodate them, with many classes starting at $40/week. get the full story here: https://lessons.com/costs/karate-classes-cost

We agree that the above estimates are accurate. Again it is important to know that lineage of your instructors. Look at the cleanliness of the school. Request a free lesson. Learn about their length of time in business and their success record in competition etc.

Although karate, jiu jitsu or martial arts in general might not seem cheap, it is still economically affordable with simple planning and of course the desire to learn.

Good luck!
